ICPC seeks to maintain professionalism in law
enforcement chaplaincy.
The International
Conference of Police Chaplains was founded in 1973 to serve all law
enforcement chaplains

Has more than 2,600 members in 20 nations
worldwide
- Is ecumenical, interfaith, and interdenominational
- Supports both paid and volunteer chaplains
- Helps agencies develop chaplaincy programs
- Is a non-profit organization
All members receive endorsement to the ICPC from their respective
ecclesiastical bodies, and the law enforcement agencies they serve.
Several denominations have enrolled liaison representatives as members.
A number of local churches are "Church Partners," giving
financial and prayer support to this specialized workplace ministry.
Gifts are also received from ICPC members and
benefactors.
