The ICPC Story

ICPC seeks to maintain professionalism in law enforcement chaplaincy.

The International Conference of Police Chaplains was founded in 1973 to serve all law enforcement chaplains

  • Has more than 2,600 members in 20 nations worldwide

  • Is ecumenical, interfaith, and interdenominational

  • Supports both paid and volunteer chaplains

  • Helps agencies develop chaplaincy programs

  • Is a non-profit organization
All members receive endorsement to the ICPC from their respective ecclesiastical bodies, and the law enforcement agencies they serve. Several denominations have enrolled liaison representatives as members.

A number of local churches are "Church Partners," giving financial and prayer support to this specialized workplace ministry. Gifts are also received from ICPC members and benefactors.
